We have had a busy week!  I can't believe how much we have going on right now.  We are doing our CFA this grading period on landforms.  Here is an adorable book we made today.  I can't take the credit for this great idea.  My amazing teacher friend Heather found a picture on Pinterest of this and made these templates for us.  The kids loved it and it really helped them understand the concept so much better.

Just finished up some ideas for fractions.  Here are some previews of the new packet.  It has anchor charts, a book to make, games, and math tasks.  I think it really turned out great!

I've started thinking about measurement and RULERS!  My friends always seem to have trouble deciding which tool to use when they measure.  I created ten fun activities to give them practice measuring and help them decide which tool would be best to use.  Click on either of the pictures to go take a look at the whole packet.

Take a look at this adorable book my amazing teacher friend made today with her class.  She saw it  on Pinterest.  As much time as I spend on pinterest, I can't believe I missed this!

The kids decorate the front of their Transformation Book. Here is a picture of the inside.  Use a ruler to make the right side with the squares.  They paper clip the translation on the top and they can slide it from square to square.  The reflection is taped on both kids so the kids can actually "flip" it back and forth.  The rotation piece is held on with a paper fastener and it turns.  This is so cuteI I can't wait to make these will my little friends really soon.

I love teaching the life cycle of a butterfly.  I had a great idea for a craftivity and with a little bit of lucky, this adorable creation was born!

Well I survived Valentine's Day.  What in the world is it about those tiny little cards that make totally normal kids go CRAZY?

So now it is time to start planning for St. Patty's Day!  My class can never stop review our double digit math problems.  So I created these centers to use in March.  You can click on the page to see the whole packet on TPT.  It has one with regrouping and one without.

Hi Everyone!  I was grading journals yesterday and I think I corrected the same word in 10 different journals!  So I created these printouts of the most commonly misspelled words to post on the wall so hopefully I can help my angels get these words spelled right.  At least most of the time!  You can get them in my TPT store for free.  Just click on either of the pages below.

Have a great Saturday!

This is a sample of the cards.  I think they turned out really cute!

We just made the cutest STORY SANDWICH!  The kids loved it.  Here is a picture of my sample.
The packet to make this is available on my TPT store.  Click on the picture to go to the link with TPT.

I am throwing my first sale on TPT today.  Everything in my store will be 20% off and with the TPT site-wide sale, it will actually be 28% off!  Please visit my store and check it out:
